Welcome to April at Smart Lunches! Easter Bunnies and Easter Eggs. Spring flowers and April showers. Lengthening days and more time outdoors. We're also anticipating the 2022 National Child Nutrition Conference, April 18 - 22, 2022. If you're attending, look for our ad in the conference program.

Which Came First?
There's a great mix of both chicken and egg entrees on our April menu. Honestly, we don't care which came first, we're just excited to have these nutritious, protein-packed, kid-favorite ingredients to use in our menus. Features this month include:

No Meat? No Problem?
Vegetarians have plenty to celebrate on our April menu. Every day, we offer at least one meat-free option. Here are a few we are featuring this month:

Food Allergies
If you have children with specific food allergies, we have at least one selection every day that is free of the major food allergies. When you download the menu, you will see how the selection is marked with the designations, Egg Free, Dairy Free, Gluten Free, Soy Free, or Sesame Free.
